Our Story: From One Laptop to
a Global Movement

Teachers for Peace began with one online English class for children affected by war.

What started as a small act of kindness has grown into a volunteer-led social enterprise — a global community of educators and learners united by the belief that education can heal and empower.

Since 2022, our volunteers have offered hundreds of free and affordable lessons, reaching students in more than 20 countries.
Every class, conversation, and shared smile reminds us: education is more than language — it’s connection, confidence, and hope.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower children and women affected by conflict, providing them with opportunities to focus on education and envision a brighter tomorrow.

At Teachers for Peace, we believe education is a powerful tool to rebuild lives and foster peace in communities torn apart by war and displacement.

Together, we aim to break the cycle of despair, one classroom at a time.

Our commitment

At Teachers for Peace, we’re here for anyone who’s suffering because of war, no matter who they are or where they come from. We don’t take sides in conflicts—we go where we’re needed, offering education and support to those caught in the middle of violence and instability.

Our programs bring together students and teachers from different parts of the world, helping them find solidarity and understanding across borders. We believe education is a powerful tool for healing and peace-building, and we work to open doors wherever we can make a difference.
